Council urges collar and tag awareness
Blaby District Council is urging residents to ensure they do not fall foul of a law fining dog owners failing to have appropriate identification on their dog.
The Control of Dogs Order (1992) says that a dog in a public place must wear a collar bearing the name and address (including postcode) of the owner engraved or written on it, or engraved on a tag.

Changes in refuge and recycling collections
A four-week consultation is to be launched on Blaby District Council's plans to change its refuse and recycling collections from June 2018, following a substantial reduction in funding.

Volunteer Litter Pick
On behalf of the Parish Council and residents a huge "Thank You" to Sally and Anne for co-ordinating the recent litter pick in Kilby village. Around 35 black sacks of rubbish were collected over 2 sessions - thank you to everyone who took part.
The Parish Council has now purchased its own equipment for use in any future litter picks - please contact the Clerk for more information.
